The Ultimook Running Camp is excited to have you attend camp Aug. 9-15.  We hope you have been running this summer!  Our passion is to give you one of the best running experiences of your life.  We’ll take you on some of the most beautiful runs on the Oregon Coast and challenge you to become a better runner and a better leader.  We want you to make it to the top.

You are confirmed for participation as part of our 6 day Ultimook Running Camp Aug. 9-15th.    If we have your credit card on file as your form of payment, we will be charging the cost of camp  August 5th.  Charges will appear from Oregon Coastal Flowers.  Otherwise, please be prepared to pay your balance of ________ during check-in.  If you did not supply us with your medical history form at time of registration, please bring it at check-in.

Dates:  August 9-15.

Check-in:  1:30-3:00 pm August 9th at The Hydrangea Ranch, 9455 Kilchis River Rd., Tillamook, OR 97141. We have planned a short run the afternoon of check-in, so please eat lunch accordingly.

Directions:  Turn right onto Alderbrook Rd. ½ mile North of the Tillamook Cheese Factory on Hwy 101N.  Go one mile and come to a “T”.  Take a right onto Kilchis River Rd.  Go past the two mile marker and turn right into The Hydrangea Ranch.  Drive ½ mile on gravel road parallel to Kilchis River Rd. to campsite.

Check-out:  10 am August 15th on the Hydrangea Ranch.   Our closing competition is a cross county 3,000m challenge near the campground on the ranch.  We encourage family and friends to attend.  The race starts at 9am.   We encourage families to spend the weekend on the beautiful Oregon Coast.

Daily Camp Updates:  Daily updates including photos, activities, etc. will be given on Facebook and Instagram:  Ultimook, as well as on our website at www.ultimookrunningcamp.com.  Follow along daily as your kids participate in camp.

Blog Updates:  We encourage you to sign up for our Ultimook blog at www.ultimookrunningcamp.com. We may need to get important updates/information to you prior to camp, info to parents during camp, or camp info to you throughout the year.  You can do this by visiting our website and using the signup form on the footer of any page.

Camping Experience:  You will be sleeping in large greenhouses and using port-a-potties throughout the week.  Bring an air mattress or foam pad.  Hot showers will be available, as well as the Kilchis River.  This is a true camping experience, but probably not as rough as most.

Meals:  We have hired a professional catering company to be preparing meals.  Twins Ranch Catering will be supplying three nutritious meals a day. We encourage you to bring healthy snacks along.  Fresh fruit, Gatorade, and water will be available at all times.

List of Things to Bring:  Please carefully review the list below.  Be aware that the Oregon Coast is much cooler and damper than many of you are used to.  Be prepared that it will be cooler in the nights and moister in the morning.  It may rain, even when it is sunny one mile to the East.

  • Sleeping Bag, Air Mattress/Foam Pad, and Pillow
  • Workout Clothes and Sweats—enough for 6 days of running
  • 1-2 Pairs of Running Shoes (the 1st one will get wet)
